How do I place an online order?
Placing an order with asiaforkids.com is very easy and safe. Simply locate the item(s) you wish to purchase from our extensive selection and follow these simple steps:

  1. When the desired product is found, click on the Add to Cart button associated with the item.
  2. The contents of your shopping basket will be displayed. This information reveals the product number, title, quantity, and per unit cost. If multiple quantities of the same item are desired, you may change the number of items from the default of one (1) to the appropriate number. You may continue shopping by clicking on the Category Search tab on the top of the web page, or you may go to checkout by clicking on the Proceed to Final Checkout button on the bottom of the basket page. Each time subsequent items are selected for purchase, by clicking on the associated Add to Cart button, this shopping basket page will appear to reveal the total contents and price. Items may be removed from the shopping basket by clicking on the Remove Item button.
  3. Click on the appropriate button for where the items will be shipped to (Ohio, Other U.S. states, or International).
  4. Click on the Proceed to Final Checkout button to proceed with your purchase. An Order ID Number will appear in the top left hand corner. Your order will appear with the appropriate charges for shipping and handling and tax if applicable. You will be prompted to enter your billing address, your shipping address if different, phone number and e-mail address. Please enter your credit card number and expiration date.
  5. Click on Purchase button at the bottom of the page. Once you have entered the needed information, a page similar to the shopping basket page will be displayed in which the final contents of your shopping basket are listed with your bill-to and ship-to information.
  6. A comment box will appear on this page where messages for gift cards or comments or questions about shipping, deliveries, or your order can be entered. Upon clicking on Submit Comment, this message will be forwarded to our Customer Service Department along with your order and will be responded to or acted on promptly. This is the only record of your order. You must save or print this page for your records.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. It is our standard policy not to charge your card before your order is ready to ship. If you have a backordered item, we will not charge you until it is filled. You may give us your credit card information via online, phone (1-800-765-5885), or fax (513-563-3105). For payment by check or money order, print out a copy of your completed order form and mail this to us with your check to Asia for Kids, 4480 Lake Forest Dr., #302, Cincinnati, OH 45242. Check orders will not shipped until payment is received and has cleared your bank. Money order and cashier check orders will be processed upon receipt of payment. We will automatically cancel orders awaiting checks or money orders if payment is not received within 14 days.

Is it safe to use my credit card?
Yes, shopping at asiaforkids.com is safe. Every credit card purchase you make at asiaforkids.com is backed by the asiaforkids.com Safe Shopping Guarantee and an SSL secure site. We guarantee that every transaction you make at asiaforkids.com will be 100% safe. We employ the latest 128-bit encryption technology in all parts of our site which require you to provide your personal or account information. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your card as a result of shopping at asiaforkids.com. Read the details of this policy. If you feel more comfortable, you can print the order form and fax, mail or call in your order.

How much do you charge for shipping?
See the complete description of our shipping policy. Incidentally, when you fill out our online order form, our system automatically calculates and displays the shipping charges for your inspection.

Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we gladly ship anywhere in the world and will ship via DHL or U.S. Postal Airmail or Surface mail. For faster delivery, we can ship via DHL (3-5 days delivery time) or US Postal Global Priority or Air Mail (1-2 weeks). Shipping time for Surface Mail varies widely depending on the destination. Typically, Surface Mail to Canada takes 2-3 weeks, 6 weeks to the United Kingdom, 6-8 weeks to Japan and Australia, and 10-12 weeks to China, Brazil, Singapore, to name a few. To give you an idea, the charge for Surface Mail is usually about 25% of your subtotal plus regular shipping. We are working diligently to automate the international shipping feature of our order form. For now, please fill out the comment box when you fill in the orderform for your preference for shipping, and we will inform you of the best rates before processing your order.

Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, in any amount over $20.00. There is no additional tax or shipping and handling charge. You may have them personalized and sent directly to the recipient with our Asia for Kids Catalog or sent to you so that you may present the certificate in person. See Gift Certificates for further details.

Can I return something if I do not like it?
Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return the product in its original, salable condition. We will issue a full refund for the price of any item you return that meets these conditions. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. Videos, audio, and software are not returnable once opened unless they are found to be defective. See our Returns Policy for information on how to make a return.

How do I cancel an order or a backorder?
To cancel an item on back order, contact our Customer Service department by e-mailing: sales@afk.com. Please include your Order Number within the message. If the order already shipped, you will be notified.
